“Script”

Art Film

Video Production, SPRING 2013

Final Cut Pro X

Script is an art film that was made for Video Production class in collaboration with fellow two other classmates. The film draws a parallel between the creative process of two seemingly different artistic endeavors: Dance and writing. Shot with a Canon XLS and edited with Final Cut Pro X, Script was the culmination  of all the cinematic skills we learned at that point in time.

“The Exchange”

Art Film

Video Production, SPRING 2013

Final Cut Pro X

The Exchange is another art film created for Video Production. I wrote, directed, and filmed the movie, which was inspired by a sequence in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather (1972). Using no dialogue, I aimed to tell a short story with just imagery and music. Once again, Final Cut Pro X was my editing suite of choice.

“LOST Video Remix Project”

Promotional Video

Media Theory & Practice, FALL 2012

Premiere

This video remix project is essentially an extended trailer for the television series, Lost (2004). Created for Media Theory and Practice, the assignment was retell or “remix” a video of our choice. Using Adobe Premiere, I created this short, focusing on the relationship between the opposing characters, John Locke and Jack Shephard.

“Around the World Remix”

Audio Remix Project

Media Theory & Practice, FALL 2012

Final Cut Pro, Ableton Live 9, iTunes

This project was another remix assignment for Media Theory and Practice in which the class was asked to remix short bits of audio of our choice. I chose to remix three different genres of music and, to compliment the audio, I also utilized the visualizer program from Apple’s iTunes.
